Dear Marian,

Thanks for sending the newest family tree. That was quite some work for you and Bob. Since there are no numbers on the new one, we will use both of them to get them the information.

Congratulations on the forthcoming wedding of your son. This is a happy occasion and I wish the young people a good and happy marriage in good health.

Whenever you’ll make an addition to the tree there is some more work for you to do. Nora’s son Michael Herz is married and he got 2 sons.

Jokef is born on Feb. 17 - 1988

Leore "  "   "  Apr 4 - 1990. I guess Nora had sent you the name of Michael Herz’s wife and the date when they got married.

I am sorry I can’t give you any more information about the Gottlieb’s family. The house in which Leo’s parents lived was called the Faiwel’s. Maybe Leo’s grand-parents or great-grand-parents. I don’t know.

When Leo and I received the affidavit sent to us from Eleonore, there were so many Gottliebs on. Leo saw a Dr. Leo Gottlieb, Regina Gottlieb, Eleonore Gottlieb. I don’t remember all of them. It was the fast action of all these good people that saved our lives to get out of Germany fast. We are thankful to your whole family and I always tell it to Gert and his children.

The $60 which Regina had sent to us on the ship we appreciated very much also and we will always be thankful to her.

I am old, get more forgetful and so on. Soon I’ll send you some more information about Jews in Bosen, Gonnesweiler and Seotern.
