Killed by Lithuanians in Butrimantz, Trokai District, Lithuania along with her son BenZion (killed in Alyta). Eyewitness testimony in "If I Should Forget Thee . . ." Zlata was found hiding under a dining table in a neighbor's house filled with other terrified women of the town before being arrested and murdered.
