Dr. Kálmán Ecsedi
First Lieutenant (res.)- Lawyer, Budapest.
In 1906, as first year volunteer, had military service in the 6th infantry regiment. Attended officer's course in Budapest and in Eger, at the 60th infantry regiment, took part in weapon exercise.At the outbreak of the World War as lieutenant joined the 4th infantry regiment. He went to Fehértemplom with the volunteer corps then with the whole formation to the southern front where he served on the front till he was wounded on the 21 September. After his recovery he served on the Serbian front, where he had a second wounding on the 6 October 1915. He stayed on his own request and after his recovery resumed his military service. In August 1915 contracted malaria and served in hospital duties, later in the Szeged military tribunal he served in the office. In December 1917 started a two year service in the Ministry of Defence. Military medals:3rd class,Order of K.u.K.,Iron Cross,OS, OH.
